Metal Tube Bending

At Worcester Manufacturing, we specialize in bending and forming metal tube and stock to meet critical specifications for angle, circumference, wall thickness, and structural strength. Our precision capabilities—coupled with the large selection of bending machinery within out fabrication facility— allows us to create simple to very complex multi-bend tubular parts while utilizing the most cost-efficient process for your project. Our versatile tube bending skills also deliver flexibility for continued fabrication of complex or preassembled tubular parts using metals that include carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

Rotary Draw Tube Bending

Worcester Manufacturing delivers precise control of bend angle, inner diameter and outer diameter while minimizing distortion and wall thickness change. For tube bending results requiring that tube dimensions and shape are retained, our advanced hydraulic CNC tube benders incorporate a high-precision process that places custom-tooled mandrels inside the metal tube, and tooled dies around the tube so that metal flow is contained. Tubing size capabilities range from 1/2" to 3" in diameter.

Vertical Press Bending

Worcester Manufacturing offers the cost-effective option for fabricating precision bends in metal tubing for applications where a slight deformation on the inside of the bend is acceptable or preferred. With Vertical tube bending, achieving up to a 4" radius bend in tubing from 1/2" to 1 1/4" in diameter is possible, while still maintaining structural strength at the bend that is equal to a more costly Rotary Bend. One variable that does affect the structural strength of a Vertical Press bend is wall thickness.
